The cable car between Aosta and Pila will come into operation completely renovated. Its appealing, more attractive design promises also to be more convenient, faster and more comfortable. Along the 5.1 km stretch, it will have cabins for 8 people, moving at 6 metres per second, and carrying 2400 people per hour (400 more than before). From Aosta, Pila will be reachable in only 16 minutes!

The restyling for the Chamolé chair lift, as well as providing a re-modernised lower station, also includes a moving walkway for embarkation, in order to ease manoeuvres on the upward journey. With the new works, the hourly flow increases by 400 people per hour (from 2,000 to 2,400), while the overall figures for Pila rise from 18,900 to 19,700 people per hour.
